A Small Zoo of Translations
From hare to cat, rabbit and chicken
There are already six translations of the story "We are no scaredy-cats", which was donated to us by Carlsen Verlag. With each new translation, a small zoo grows on our website with animals that represent fear in each language. In English they are cats, in Arabic they are rabbits, in Turkish, Danish, French and Spanish chickens (tavuk, kyllinger, poules mouillées, gallinas) and in the original German version 'scaredy-hares' (Angsthasen).
We are curious to see which other animals will join us!
