Delle and the Search for his Family

The idea for Delle and the search for his family came about during an excursion by a class from Groß Steinrade primary school. The children spotted a dolphin in the Bay of Lübeck. And while the children puzzled over why he was so often seen in the Bay of Lübeck, the story took its course. The children researched a lot about dolphins and quickly realised that rubbish in the oceans poses a great danger to marine animals. From the many colourful ideas, the story of dolphin Delle emerged. He experiences a lot in the depths of the sea and meets all kinds of sea creatures along the way. The children brought the characters to life with the help of iron-on beads. What a great idea!
