Before this story begins, there are a few things you should know. There are people who take things seriously. And then there are people who don’t just take things seriously. No, they are precise and perfectionist. Like Franz Hubert von Goethenwall. Franz Hubert works in administration. Now, you’re probably imagining he has neatly combed hair, wears a fine suit, and a normal tie. If that’s what you’re thinking, you’re mistaken. Franz Hubert always wears a fine suit, that part is true, but his hair is not neatly combed. And his ties are definitely not normal. But then again, what is normal anyway? Franz Hubert has scruffy, colorful hair. Right now his hair is red, green, yellow, pink, and a really bright blue. His ties are usually booger-yellow or slime-green. And he wears bright red, super-long socks. Franz Hubert is tall and thin. He loves chocolate, bread rolls with garlic sausage, and he loves a certain lady. His secret is that he likes romance novels. But nobody can know that. Because he is so serious, many people find him funny—and somewhere deep down, he is a good person.
