The picture book ‘A Christmas Miracle in Karelia’ was written and illustrated by several children from Petrozavodsk, Karelia, in the far north-west of Russia. It is a story about friendship and solidarity. It is a wonderful example of how so often stories inspire other stories and how many creative sparks can be found in everyday life.
